Memorial Day Service at Arlington National Cemetery

The National Japanese American Memorial Foundation will co-host the 75th annual Memorial Day Service at Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Our thanks to the Kobayashi family, whose father, Key Kobayashi, had begun this annual event in 1948. Along with our partners, the Japanese American Citizens League (National and Washington DC Chapter) and the Japanese American Veterans Association (JAVA), we remembered the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families. After the formal ceremony, flowers will be placed on over 150 sites to pay our respects. This event will livestreamed on JAVA Facebook.
