Highlight: Prime Minister Fumio Kishida Visited the Memorial to Pay Respects to the Late Senator Daniel Inouye - April 2024

We were deeply honored to welcome Prime Minister Kishida to the National Japanese American Memorial this spring. While at the memorial, he paid his respects to the late Senator Daniel Inouye. PM Kishida’s commitment to sharing the Japanese American experience with the people of Japan is a powerful step toward ensuring that this important history is never forgotten. We look forward to continuing our work with Japan's leadership to preserve and honor these stories for future generations.
